Things to do at Vintgar Gorge

Vintgar Gorge sits about 4 km from Bled, but it is not a walk-in attraction: a single ticket at 15 EUR per adult (5 EUR up to age 15, 3 EUR per dog) covers entry, the Green Access car park and the shuttle, and it must be booked for a specific time slot before you arrive.

The wooden walkways run one direction only, along the Radovna river to the Sum waterfall, and a helmet is compulsory on the route. The gorge is closed in winter and opens only from April to November, with exact dates shifting each year depending on snowmelt and water levels, so check the current calendar before building it into a Bled itinerary.

Plan it as a half-day with Lake Bled itself, or extend towards Radovljica's old town afterwards.
